We are delighted to feature this week in a lovely article by Positive News about single older women who lead fulfilling lives with adventures, good friendships and contentment.   

The writer talks to our very own member Morraine, age 73 who has been a member of togetherfriends since it first began in 2013.  In the article Morraine states 'Without togetherfriends, I would be very lonely. I have met some lovely ladies in a similar position to me and this has made a huge difference to our lives. We have been on holiday together. Christmas without them would be much more difficult. It is a lifeline for anyone on her own,” she says.

Morraine is a true example of a contented older woman.  She travels the world (she was on holiday in Vietnam when the newspaper contacted her),  has lots of friends and leads a full and interesting life.   She has made many friends through the website, who she now goes on holiday with, as well as meeting regularly for meals, trips out etc.
