We're spreading our wings!
We are so pleased with how things are going in Yorkshire Women of all ages have joined us, from 18 to 75, all looking to extend their social circle. Weve had lots of women join who have recently retired, who are re-assessing their lifestyle now that they have more time on their hands. The website is also popular with women who have moved to a new area - Its always difficult to make new friends where social groups are already established. And women continue to join who have become divorced, widowed or are at home with young children.
Now that we have become established in Yorkshire, we are keen to spread our wings elsewhere and offer the same service of friendship to women around the country. Women have already joined us from other areas of the UK, and we would love to welcome more.
We are busy writing articles and blogs for newspapers and magazines on the importance of friendship, making friends in rural areas and making friends after divorce, bereavement or new motherhood, as well as working in partnership with other organisations who work in these fields. And we would love to hear from more organisations and journalists who are interested in these topics.
On the subject of advertising, we have space available on our website, particularly for businesses who would like to reach out to women of all ages.
